The strangest folks..

I met a mercenary today in the coffeeshop. He had two kids and lived back in the states. Life was like a roll of the dice to him. It was a very, very interesting hour of conversation to say the least.

"America puts the O in Obese" still rings in my ears. I find the type of people you meet outside of the states very intriguing. This guy was from Sacramento, and out of the blue he says "there's some kind of connection here, being from the same area, and being here now." Sounds like tripe at first, but the connection was real .. And that's the point.

Anyway -- things at home are great, my brother and I are having a great time. Going to Nieuw Vennep tonight for dinner, then taking the train back home. My cousin is coming out in a week or so! That will be a blast.
